July 28, 2008—Newman Grace Wins Connect LA Award For Shane's Inspiration Pro-Bono Work

Newman Grace recently won the Business-to-Community Connections Award for pro-bono branding work for Shane’s Inspiration. The award was presented by Connect LA to honor exemplary business role models that made a significant commitment to community service. 

“Each year our team chooses a philanthropic organization that would benefit from our services,” said CEO Jerri Hemsworth. “This award caps off a great year of working alongside Shane’s Inspiration.”

Newman Grace began working with Shane’s Inspiration to create a brand that would take  theorganization from a local charity to a non-profit recognized around the world.  Shane’s Inspiration is an organization dedicated to improving the lives of children with disabilities by creating Universally Accessible Playgrounds and programs that integrate children of all abilities.

Connect LA, a collaborative organization linking the corporate and public sectors with community-based organizations around the Los Angeles area, honored Newman Grace along with 11 other small and medium businesses for their support of community organizations.
